This page will be used to link to other boxing related sites. I won't be listing organisations like the WBC, WBA, IBF or any like them. I think they are all too easily found using the the major search engines like Google and Yahoo. So below, I'll list sites that are a little harder to find and perhaps even sites that you might not usually think of looking for.

International & Australian Directory of Online Retailers & Stockists of Boxing Equipment This is a little directory that I put together myself. At present there are 32 international retailers spanning all parts of the globe and a further 14 that are located on Australian shores.

World Boxing Video Archive is a private torrent tracker specializing in all things boxing. From match videos to TV documentaries, this tracker has one of the largest databases of boxing related torrents online.

Ross Boxing contains a plethora of tips and information to do with the very important aspect of body conditioning and preparing yourself to be in top shape. Ross's other site is called Ross Training and delves even deeper into physical conditioning.

Official Site of the Iceman John Scully There's plenty of great stuff to see at this site if you dig deep enough. The most informative page on the site would probably be the Ice Box

National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) The NCAS is an initiative of the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and is a progressive coach education program offering courses at various levels with over 70 sports participating, of course boxing is one of them. Saddoboxing A very big website that comprehensively covers the sport of boxing.

Technical & Competition Rules These rules are effective as of September 1, 2008 and are applicable to amateur boxing.

The Manuel Velazquez Fatality Collection Lists every recorded death, in boxing since and before 1890. Deaths are sorted by type (professional, amateur, toughman, training, or before 1890), and then by year.

The Cyber Boxing Zone is considered to be a comprehensive site to do with the history and culture of boxing. It's a site that would appeal to someone on an historical fact finding mission.

BoxRec A complete database of all boxing records for both current and past boxing professionals.

Cox's Corner is a small website that devotes itself to the history of boxing. It's run by boxing Historian Monte Cox and features numerous articles that focus on boxers from the early part of the 20th century right up to the 1980s. In the archives are articles on boxing strategy and development, general boxing history and heavy—weight history.


Non-Boxing Links


TED A great site full of videos featuring some of the worlds most talented minds giving speeches in their areas of expertise. Many of the speeches are very clever and entertaining. It's certainly a place to gain new insight and perspective.

Female Single Combat Club A very interesting website detailing the history of women in combat and fist fighting. The site would hold interest for historians and those conducting academic research.
